There has been so much buzz about Portugal that I almost hate to add to that but my goal is really to talk about the off season in the Algarve. In January 2026 we return for our third year and -this time – for almost three months. On many popular Facebook sites you see questions about the weather in the winter or if there are enough restaurants. But there are also many other practical questions that I see time and time again such as phone plans, car rentals, where to get your hair cut. This site will serve as an honest source of information based on our experiences. So stay tuned and I will update with blogs on our travels throughout various communities from across the entire Algarve. We are looking forward to an adventure so please join us on the journey.
